GoPro stills. Not great quality, but I love them all the same. <3

Two pods of Bottlenose Dolphins today! First was a pair, mom and calf (top three photos), then a group of three adults (bottom three photos). I’ll have some underwater video to share in a bit. :D
Other photos from today’s trip. Baby breaching (so cute!). Good ID shot, though I’ll be darned if I’ll ever see that same whale again. Thrashing whale tails (this was the follow up to the two males colliding that I posted earlier).
Two adult male North Pacific Humpback Whales collide in a competition for the spot as primary escort to a female.
Some cavorting Humpback Whales. Likely part of a competition pod, but hard to be sure at such a distance.
IT HAPPENED! I got THE breach shot I’ve been waiting for (and then a few more!)! Today was my day—-and I couldn’t be more thrilled. These are NOT cropped, this mama whale was showing her baby how it was done! <3
Humpbacks galore! I was sicker than a dog on the second trip today (thank you ill-timed migraine!) but I still managed to shoot some decent shots despite the pain if I do say so myself. :) I’m getting better at this whole bouncy raft as a platform thing.
“Morning Aerobics”
Two sub-adult Humpback Whales were playing this morning. Lots of breaching and tail and pec slapping.
Very (VERY) young Humpback Whale calf. This baby still had floppy flukes and some fetal folds. It came up right alongside the boat with mom swimming right below. <3 So precious.
